The Hollywood-Wilshire Wellness Community is organizing a free produce distribution event, offering fresh fruits and vegetables for pick-up or drive-thru. The event will take place at 5205 Melrose Avenue, Los Angeles, on Thursday, August 3rd, from 9:30 am to 10:30 am PDT.
There are no eligibility requirements for this event, and it is open to everyone. The produce distribution occurs on the 1st & 3rd Thursday of each month, and interested individuals must register online. Registration for each event opens by 5 pm after the event day.
Priority will be given to registered attendees starting at 9:30 am, and produce will be handed out on a first-come, first-served basis until supplies last. Each produce bag weighs approximately 15-20 lbs, and participants without vehicles are encouraged to bring a cart with wheels for easy transport.
No printed ticket is required; registration guarantees access to fresh produce during the allocated time. The Hollywood-Wilshire Wellness Community aims to provide a space for community members to gather, access resources, and engage in wellness activities.
