The Capital Concert Series presented by Miller Lite is back, bringing an exciting lineup of rock music to Empire State Plaza in Albany, NY. On July 12 from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m., attendees can enjoy a free concert featuring the iconic bands Spin Doctors and Cracker.

Spin Doctors, known for their chart-topping hits from the early 1990s, including “Two Princes” and “Little Miss Can’t Be Wrong,” are sure to energize the crowd with their catchy tunes. With over 10 million album sales and a strong presence on the radio, Spin Doctors continue to captivate audiences after three decades in the music industry.

Joining them on stage is Cracker, a band that has defied genre categorization throughout their career. With a mix of alt-rock, Americana, and insurgent-country, Cracker has built a loyal fan base with their timeless songs like “Low” and “Euro-Trash Girl.”

The Downtown Albany Business Improvement District (BID) is thrilled to announce the return of the Bites Camera Action free outdoor movie series. Taking place on the lawn at the H. Carl McCall State University of New York Administration Building.

Movie enthusiasts and families are invited to bring their chairs and blankets to the Central Social District in downtown Albany for a memorable evening under the stars. Seating for the events will open at 7:30 PM, with the screenings starting at dusk, around 8:30 PM.

The Albany Institute of History & Art is set to host an exciting event this Thursday, June 29th, as they present a free outdoor concert on their museum lawn. The concert, featuring the talented Jon Leroy Duo, promises to be a delightful evening filled with live music and artistic ambiance.
