The Urban Composting Workshop, hosted by Garden for the Environment (GFE), offers participants an opportunity to delve into the world of composting. Compost serves as the backbone of every thriving garden, enhancing soil quality and playing a crucial role in the success of various plants. During this informative session, attendees will learn how to create compost in their own backyards, gaining insights into the wonders of worm-powered fertilizer. Additionally, practical tips on utilizing the city’s compost bin system will be provided to help curb organic waste destined for landfills.

Free Workshop with Optional Donations

GFE graciously extends the Urban Composting Workshop to the public free of charge. Participants are welcome to contribute donations to support GFE’s ongoing efforts in educating the community about eco-friendly gardening practices and more.

Hailing from the bustling dance city of Mumbai and the spiritual town of Amritsar, these talented artists have made a name for themselves with their energetic performances and infectious enthusiasm.

On Friday, June 30, from 5:30 to 6:30 pm PDT, dance enthusiasts are invited to join Manpreet and Amit for a free community dance class at Salesforce Park, located at 425 Mission Street. Regardless of your skill level, this one-hour Bollywood dance lesson promises to leave you feeling loved, lighter, and thrilled with excitement. From beginners to seasoned dancers, all are welcome to experience the joy and beauty of Indian dance.

No registration is required for this event. Just head over to Salesforce Park and enter through the transit center building. The class will be held on the rooftop, conveniently located near the elevator.
